Happy Birthday Kristi and Elizabeth!
Querido Familia y Amigos:
Sunday night and another great YSA fireside. We had a record group tonight, total 17 people. Dad and I love working with this age group. In the photo below, notice David, Sara's son. Tonight I realised that he is the same David that has such a hard time sitting still in Primary. Brother Flake, counsellor in the bishopric and father of 12 children, visited Primary today and didn't just shush David. He picked him off the floor and put him in his seat. I can see I need to think more like a dad if I'm going to help with the reverence.
Monday, Monday....Despedida for us and the Burks
Well, you'll never guess what we did today...besides walking and studying scriptures and studying Spanish...
Yup, you got it; yes, you have it: THAT IS CORRECT!!! Packed to come home, and then unpacked enough for the next week.

Tuesday: Train Museum
Klaus y Crista con sus niña
Klaus and Crista Noack came to visit Tuesday afternoon. Klaus works at the CCM (MTC) around the corner. We took them to dinner at our favorite restaurant Tacotento. Crista is one of the Estrada's daughters.
Friday Lunch with Gloria Garcia:
I took my lovely friend, Hermana Garcia, to lunch. We shared love and tears, then came back to our apartment - just at the time the Padillas were delivering "Lehi's Dream" rings to the Burks next door. All of you who have the rings we brought back to Utah in the spring, these are the people who make them. |
