Happy Birthday, Renelle!
Querido Familia y Amigos:
We arrived back from Puerto Barillos Saturday evening and did some more packing. Sunday we were back in church for "Santa Cena" (Sacrament) and to teach our class of JAS (YSA in English). The three young men on the back row right below were guests from Italy and England. They had been in the same zone on their missions and added interesting insights during our lesson.
In the evening at FHE, the group surprised us by singing "God Be With You 'Till We Meet Again" in Spanish and presenting us with the orange animal on Dad's lap. How we will miss this group. Andy, in red left centre, has been called as one of the JAS representatives and lead the group. The two missionary couples on either side of us will take over our position as advisors. Sara, second from the right on the centre row, told us that the group had been splintered and avoiding class, also clashing with each other, before we were called to gather them up and start a unified group. From 3 or 4 people attending our first nights together, we've grown to a large group. Brother Flake, second counsellor in the bishopric, gave each person tonight the challenge to bring a new person next week. He also seconded Alberto's idea for them all to group their faith and prayers to bring inactive members to church and to join the group.

Farewell from the JAS
Welcome Home!
We came home to a fun welcome and SNOW! The Bradys and Burns met us at the airport. We then went to Crown Burger for dinner and "grouping" with the Dunfords and Joseph's family. Wednesday morning Kristi introduced me to a new supermarket. Thank goodness we shopped together! Much more fun than wading through house-setup on my own. |

My Appreciation
Please join me singing my theme song for the year, along with Buddy Greene in the YouTube video below.
Love to you all!
