Querido Familia y Amigos: Saturday a group of us missioneras y obreras (workers) were in the roperia (clothing issue area) con mucho trabajo (a lot of work). One of the women who washes clothing for the temple passed through and told us "Hay muchos angeles en el temple hoy." Four of us were pairing and folding socks in a very small area. There probably were real angels in the temple, but she was referring to us. |

Mas Angeles
La Despedida Two of our angel sister missionaries are through with their missions. Hermana Caballero left Wednesday morning with two of her daughters. She had lovely stories to tell us when we gathered at the Burks for a pot luck dinner. She also taught Primary for the Spanish speakers. Art and Photo Corner: Jed and Faculty: | Martinez Family: Dad had dinner with the Martinez family on Monday night. They are favoritas of Cal and Chelsea. Their daughter Ichi spent a lot of time in Chelsea's apartment when Chelsea was here in Guatemala on a mission. Saturday the Martinez family came to the temple to meet me. They have offered to take us anywhere we would like to go in the weeks we have left. Young Single Adults We had a tremendous storm mid-afternoon on Sunday and were without power for several hours. That didn't stop our group! We had 10 people attend, including the sister missionaries and one of their investigators. We held the entire meeting: greetings and sharing the week, telling an experience in the dark, lesson by Antonio, game by Andrea Garcia, and treats of brownies with ice cream -- all by flashlight. |
